A USD 93 Billion Global Technology Leader intended to hire Senior Research Scientists for bleeding edge future-focussed technology research areas, to start up their Research Lab in India.
Research in India was primarily in academia and commercial research scientists were very rare. Hiring would have to be from global locations. Lifecycle of research projects being long, hiring engagements would involve long and fragile cycles. Since a long term commitment to working in India was a must, hiring of expat scientists from overseas was not a prefered option.
